Detailed Instructions:

1. To activate your Halifax Online Banking, go to the home page of Halifax at http://www.halifax.co.uk/.
2. In the home page, look for the ‘Register’ link at the top right corner of the page. Click on it to proceed
3. Enter the following details on the displayed form
   1. Title
   2. First Name
   3. Last Name
   4. Date of Birth
   5. Post Code
   6. Select the type of account that you hold with Halifax. Enter the sort code and the Account number in the space provided.
   7. Enter your preferred password (should be 6-15 characters and have at least 3 letters and 1 number)
   8. Agree to the terms and conditions, enter your email address and click on ‘Continue’
   9. Follow the instructions on screen to complete the registration process.
