Requirements to activate (or register) a GEICO Policy Account Online
- A PC or laptop with a secure and fast internet connection
- GEICO Policy Number
- Social Security Number
- Mailing Zip code
Instructions
- To start the activation process, go to http://service.geico.com/.
- If you are a registered user, you can use the User ID and password to log in to the account.
- If you are new user, click on ‘Activate User’ link located below the “New User Online?” Text
- In the screen displayed enter the following details
- Policy Number (without dashes) – If you have trouble locating the policy number, click on the link ‘Where do I find my policy number’.
- Date of Birth
- Mailing ZIP Code – as provided in the insurance policy application
- Last four digits of the social security number
- Click on ‘Continue’
- In the next page, enter you preferred User ID and password
- In the final step, you can take a print out of the document, sign it and send it across to the mentioned mailing address, or you can opt for the Paperless option.
- Follow the instructions on screen to complete your activation process
- Once the policy account is activated, you can log in to access the account using your login credentials.
