- To register and access the Great Lakes online account, go to http://www.mygreatlakes.org/.
- If you have registered with Great Lakes before, enter your User ID and click ‘Log In’.
- If you are new to Great Lakes site, click on ‘sign Up for Account Access’ button.
- In the screen displayed, enter the following
- Preferred User ID ( User Id must be between 5 to 30 characters without any special characters)
- Preferred password
- Social Security Number
- Date of Birth
- Click on ‘Continue’ to proceed with the registration
- In the next step you will have to verify your identity by following the instructions on screen
- Then create a PIN for your account and select an identity image for your account.
- Complete the process by following onscreen instructions.
- Use the newly registered User ID and password to access your Great Lakes Account
- Information regarding your Student Loan will be available in your account.
MyGreatLakes.Org – Once you have activated your account and logged in you should be able to access student loan information, make payments or adjustments, and view your balances.
