Here is an easy step-by-step tutorial on how to set or edit custom nameservers with godaddy.
What you’ll need:
A godaddy account with a registered domain name, Internet access, a computer or any Internet-capable device (such as a smartphone or tablet) and the custom nameservers you want to use.
Step-by-step instructions:
Visit godaddy.com.
In the upper right corner, click the login button. Enter your username and password.
On the left side of the green bar, hover over products, then domains, and all the way on the bottom right of the gray box, click “Manage now.”
Click the domain name you want to edit. The third item under “domain settings” is “nameservers.”
Click the “manage” link.
Click the “custom” button under “setup type” and click the link labeled “Edit Nameservers” on the right.
Add your custom nameservers, they should look something like this:
NS1.GUIDEROCKET.COM
NS2.GUIDEROCKET.COM
And click “ok.”
Then click “save.” That’s it!
